This chapter makes an attempt to understand the routes of hatred, that the last war brought to Belarus. The war turned many German guys from peaceful German towns and villages into merciless killers. What or who made them change? Those who did not change died.  One of those was Heinz Halbgewachs, that is seen in the picture
